Kaoshung

When I am in Taiwan we always visit my wife's little sidster, who lives with her family in Kaoshung in the southern Taiwan. Kaoshung is a new upcoming and very successfull city of Taiwan. Above is a photo from their famous train station Formosa Boulevard Station decorated in glass by Narcissus Quagliata.


The most famous attraction of Kaoshung is the Love River which runs through the inner city. Here you can take your loved one for a romantic walk on the bridges of the river.

Next to the hotel where we live while in Kaoshung is a famous bakery, where the boss won the worlds championship of bread baking several times. We have noticed that his shop has a feature outside to handle the queue, and for a reason, because this bakery has a queue from before it opens in the morning until it closes in the evening.
